1 Our Safety Standards
Boofer prohibits the use of its platform for the following activities:
- The creation, distribution, or promotion of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
- Solicitation or grooming of minors.
- Engaging in sexually explicit conduct involving or targeted at minors.
- Any behavior that exploits or endangers children.
2 Prevention Practices
To uphold these standards, Boofer implements several layers of protection:
- Encryption with Safety: While messages are end-to-end encrypted, we use metadata analysis and user reports to identify potential bad actors.
- Automated Scanning: We use industry-standard hashing technology (where applicable and allowed by privacy laws) to prevent the upload of known CSAM.
- Age Verification: Boofer is strictly for users aged 13 and older. We use technical signals to identify and remove accounts belonging to under-age users.
- Community Moderation: Our safety team reviews all reports related to minor safety with highest priority.
3 How to Report Concerns
If you encounter content or a user that violates our child safety standards, please report it immediately:

- Select Report or Block/Report.
- Choose Child Safety Concern as the reason.
- Provide any additional details to help our team investigate.

4 Legal Compliance
Boofer complies with all relevant national and international child safety laws. We work closely with authorities, including:
- NCMEC Reporting: We are required by law to report any CSAM we become aware of to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
- Law Enforcement Cooperation: We cooperate with legal requests from authorities to protect children and prosecute offenders.
- Regional Authorities: We comply with regional safety regulations in every country where Boofer is available.
