Boofer is a privacy-first messaging app. You get a unique virtual phone number and a custom handle. You can chat, call, and video call with other Boofer users without revealing your real identity or phone number. Everything is end-to-end encrypted.

Yes! Core features — messaging, voice calls, video calls, file sharing — are completely free. We plan to offer optional premium features in the future, but the core experience will always be free.

You can find people by their Boofer handle (@username) or their virtual number. You can also share a profile link — booferapp.github.io/p/theirhandle — which opens directly in the app.

Absolutely. Boofer does not require your real phone number to register. You only need a username and optionally an email for account recovery. You receive a Boofer virtual number automatically.

You can recover your account using your registered email address. Your messages are end-to-end encrypted, so message history on the old device cannot be transferred (by design, for privacy). Your account, contacts, and profile will be fully restored on your new device.

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account within the Boofer app. This permanently deletes your account and all associated data within 30 days. This action is irreversible. If you cannot access the app, email shaadowplatforms.g92192@gmail.com.

Tap and hold a message or visit a profile and tap the three-dot menu → Report. Our moderation team reviews all reports. You can also email shaadowplatforms.g92192@gmail.com with details.

If you don't have Boofer installed, you'll be prompted to download it.
